As mentioned in my previous post, during the weekend I had the privilege of attending the #corkblogmeet15, organised by Zoë from zoewithumlauts.com and received one of the goodie bags that she had kindly put together for us. Throughout the day we also received an abundance of goodie bags from Debenhams, the Body Shop, Ingot and Mememe, to be discussed in a post coming shortly, but for this post I’m just going to focus on the one that Zoë put together for us.
The first thing in the goodie bag was a Viviscal Hair Growth and Haircare Programme. I had never heard of it before, but I’ve seen it get glowing reviews when I did a little bit of research, so I can’t wait to try it. I also got Dream Dots, which I’ve seen loads of bloggers rave over. I’ve already tried them (as you can see) and they haven’t disappointed! I also got WaterWipes which are really handy as I’m always running out of things to take my makeup off with.
The next thing in the goodie bag was a Paese Cream Blusher. As I’m a sucker for shiny things I generally buy eyeshadow and lipstick for myself and not enough “face makeup” as such, so I was happy to find some in the bag. I hadn’t heard of Paese before either, so I can’t wait to see what their products are like. Also in the bag was an Emma’s Oh So Natural Wax Tart Melt, which smells absolutely divine, and a Rimmel Scandeleyes Gel Eyeliner.
I’m looking forward to giving some of these a go, as I had heard of Physician’s Formula but never tried their stuff. They contributed a Shimmer Strips Bronzer which looks absolutely gorgeous, a Plump Potion Lipgloss that I’ve seen get rave reviews and a Happy Booster Bronzer that looks fab as well. Wet’n’Wild, always a favourite, also contributed a few bits – a ColourIcon Pencil , which I was happy to get because I always love a bit of coloured eyeliner, as well as a Juicy Lip Balm in Cherry which looks really good. They also included a Mega Rocks Nail Polish and a Idol Eyes Shadow Pencil in Pixie.
Rimmel were kind enough to treat us to a Scandeleyes Gel Eyeliner, which is supposed to be really good, as well as the Provocalips 16hr Kiss-Proof Lip Colour which I can’t wait to try as I always struggle to find lip products that stay on for more than 1 hour. Eyelure also contributed a Lash Edit Kit in London, which I’m looking forward to trying out soon!
The last thing in my goodie bag was these absolutely gorgeous items from Daisy-Mae Jewellery. I am absolutely in love with the little dinosaur necklace and shamrock bracelet I got in my goodie back – they’re exactly my kind of jewellery. I had actually been meaning to order some pieces from her for a while, so I was delighted to find these. I’m looking forward to ordering more soon, I have my eye on so many!
So that’s all the fabulous stuff I got in the goodie bag Zoë made up for us – hopefully I’ll have a post up over the weekend about the rest of the goodie bags and what I spent my €50 voucher from Debenhams on. I’d also like to thank all the brands that contributed – I was astounded by how generous they were! You’ll definitely be seeing some of these products in individual posts over the next few months – I have so many planned already. Overall, I’m just so thankful to have had this wonderful opportunity, met so many lovely new people, and got some beautiful new makeup along the way!
Have you tried any of the above products? Do you have your eye on any of them?
