I’ve seen this tag floating around a lot recently, and seeing as I could talk about books for hours on end, I’ve decided to give it a go!
What is your favourite book?
I have a loads – The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Curious Incident of The Dog in The Night time by Mark Haddon, and The Casual Vacancy by J.K. Rowling are a few.
Who is your favourite author?
I like Mark Haddon a lot, and also Cassandra Clare.

I don’t really prefer any genres, I like to find good books in every genre really.

Cassandra Clare’s The Mortal Instruments.
What books did you hate reading in school?
The Life of Pi – I know it’s supposed to be one of those amazing books that everyone likes, but I just found it really boring.
What is the first book you remember reading as a child?
I don’t know what the first one was but I remember reading a book called The Mud Puddle a lot in play school. It terrified me!
Bookstores or libraries?
Both! Libraries are really handy when I’m low on money, but they don’t always have many new releases so I also go to bookshops.
How many books do you own?
I’m not sure, probably around 100.
Do you read before bed?
I do, but I’ve gotten into the habit of going on the internet instead, which I would like to change.
What is your most comfortable reading position?
I like reading in a tree house-platform thing in the garden, or lying down in bed.
What is the most recent book you read?
City of Heavenly Fire by Cassandra Clare. It was so good!
What quote from any book will you never forget? Why is it significant?
I always go blank at questions like this even though there are so many good ones.
One of my favourite quotes is Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home. I don’t really have one reason it’s significant, just basically because Harry Potter is the best ever.
Science Fiction or Fantasy?
What books do you regret reading?
The Twilight Series, I think they’re rubbish.
How large is your bookshelf?
It goes from the ceiling of my room to the floor and it’s about a metre wide.

I’d say about 30.
What book can you read hundreds of times and never get tired of?
Do you like to read outside?
Only during the Summer, but in the Summer I love to read outside.
What’s the biggest lesson you’ve learned from a book?
That Hogwarts letters arrive on your 11th birthday. 😉
Of the past year, what is the greatest book you’ve read?
Amy, My Daughter by Mitch Winehouse.
Have you read any of these books? What did you think of them?
