I will admit, I was late to the Netflix bandwagon – I’ve only really started using it since my exams have ended, but I’m so glad I have. I’m mainly using it to keep up to date with shows, and in some cases watch old episodes. I’ve seen a few people doing posts of their Netflix favourites recently, so I decided to do the same.
This is one that I finished before it was on Netflix, but I still love rewatching old episodes, especially season finales with Chuck/Blair drama. Now that it’s on Netflix, it’s perfect for doing this! For those of you who don’t know, Gossip Girl is a show about rich school kids who live in the Upper East Side, New York and spend more time drinking champagne at parties than going to school. These teenagers live extremely scandalous lives, which are followed by the infamous website Gossip Girl. I love everything about this show – the drama, the clothes, the soundtrack, Ed Westwick. What more could you want?
I got into this last Summer, and I’m definitely still hooked. This is one of my favourite shows, I literally count the days until I can watch a new episode. This show is about a leading American law firm, who hire a lawyer, Mike Ross, who never actually went to law school. As more people within the firm find out, the secret becomes more dangerous and the potential for disaster increases. There are so many reasons I adore this show including the plot lines, the characters, the soundtrack, and the amazing chemistry in the relationships. (Harvey and Donna. I ship it so much.)
Pretty Little Liars
I’ve been watching this show for five years now! Scary that it’s been that long. I was delighted last year when they started putting the new episodes on Netflix so I could watch them easily on the TV. In this show four girls are connected through the disappearance of their friend, Ali, which coincides with their beginning to get messages from a tormenter, A, who wants to make their lives as miserable as possible. Six seasons later and we still don’t have all the answers. (My money is on Cece Drake, I have a feeling about her.) I’m dying to find out!
So that’s what I’m loving on Netflix at the moment. I can’t wait to get into more so leave recommendations if you have any! For the next three weeks my posts are going to be less frequent as I’m going away, but I do have some scheduled so keep an eye out for them.
