I’m finally getting organised after France and catching up on the blog – today’s post is an outfit post which I’ve put together inspired by The Dark Knight Rises’ Catwoman. This is a movie which I’m quite a fan of, so I’m excited to share this look.
The dress I’ve featured in this look is the Tulle Away V-neck Evening Gown from Fanny Crown.com – I absolutely love it. When I found the Fanny Crown website I fell in love with so many of their dresses, they’re so elegant and classy. This dress has a deep V-neck front, with a plunging back and a concealed zip line. The shoulder pads are decorated with navy sequins, and the straps are made from black sheer material. The dark colour of the dress also create a deeply mysterious look – key for channeling your inner Dark Knight Rises!
With this dress I would choose these Black Dramatic Lace Platforms which I found on LoveItSoMuch, they suit the Catwoman look so well and create a really striking, dramatic look. When I saw these shoes, I became obsessed immediately.
The makeup I would wear with this is the Urban Decay Smoked Palette to create the perfect smokey eye, and the Soap and Glory Supercat Eyeliner to create a winged cateye effect. This is a look which I think, when done well, always looks great and it’s perfect for going out.
I’d pair enticing red lips using Nars Semi Matte lipstick in Joyous Red with the smokey eye, to create an overall captivating makeup effect.
For hair, I’d go with the classic Catwoman and pin it back in a half-up half-down style. This simple style keeps the classiness of Selina Kyle, while letting the rest of the outfit give the dramatic, alluring Catwoman effect. This look would also show off the gorgeous navy pearl earrings I’d pair with the dress, which is another key reason to chose it.
I’d finish this outfit by spraying some Beyoncé Heat perfume because I think it smells absolutely divine, and wearing a choker style necklace to suit the plunging neckline of the Fanny Crown dress.
This is how I’d create the look I’ve chosen, incorporating The Dark Knight Rises. It’s suitable for multiple occasions, such as Debs, Prom, a Winter Wedding or even just a nighttime event.
I’d definitely recommend checking out the FannyCrown dresses – there’s one there for every occasion, and they’re all so nice! They do dresses for weddings, debs, going out, homecoming, graduation, prom, cocktail dresses and so many more. If you have any exciting events coming up, Fannycrown is definitely the place to go!

So that’s how I’d incorporate this theme – I loved putting together this look! What did you think of the Dark Knight Rises inspired style?
