During the week I was lucky enough to be brought to a perfume shop after school by my dad and treated to a new perfume! I had never been to this perfume shop, Ydentik, before – it’s only been open since the start of December. Now that I’ve discovered it, I’ll definitely be going back.
I was very impressed by the concept of this perfume shop – you’re able to request any perfume you want, such as Chanel No.5, or whatever takes your fancy, and you can get an identical scented perfume without the brand, for a much lower price. If you ask for a perfume they don’t have, they can look it up, get a description, and give you like – smelling perfumes. I thought it was such a good idea!
The perfume that I got was Number 32, Nina by Nina Ricci. It’s described as “fruity cyprus”, a scent that I’ve noticed a recurring theme among my favourite perfumes. I actually had my eye on the “Nina” perfume for a while before this, so I’m really glad that that was the one I came away with.
When I brought the perfume home, however, I was dismayed to find that there was a tiny chip out of one of the top corners which was causing a slight leak. I was worried bringing it back to the shop that I wouldn’t get a new one, but they were so nice! I had it replaced without any problem, and the good customer services made me even more likely to go back.
The bottle I got was medium – sized, and cost €18.99, and there are also small and large sizes available. It also costs €2 less for refills the next time, when you bring the bottle back. For such a reasonable price, I’d definitely recommend stopping by!
What perfumes do you like most? Will you be making a trip to Ydentik?
